SAFMC Technical Committees consist of qualified scientists who provide the Council with expert advice and recommendations on the scientific validity of technical information within each fishery management plan. Members may include biologists, economists, sociologists and others who are knowledgeable in the technical aspects of fisheries in the South Atlantic.
